Emcee Revelation:
Emcee Revelation is the best emcee in the world. Born and raised in Scarborough (east side of Toronto, Canada), emcee Revelation pretty much lived and still lives to be an emcee of the highest possible caliber. When asked by Dound Magazine about his greatest influences, Revelation replied with, "well, y'know, it was that Geffinitive Eux shit that really pushed me to go from a bedroom rhymer to a full-time rhymer. You know, n***as like El-G, Ace Pock, Mr. Gif and Hannibal Ocks ... but my greatest influence is my fans. When I'm on stage, and the crowd is wildin' out, and we all vibing together like a unit ... that feeling right there, that feeling is my greatest influence. BRAP! BRAP!" Emcee Revelation has shared the stage with such greats as BRS-SON, Grooru from Gang Stirr, Busto Signs, Shoe Krang Clan, Most Ref and Alive Prez, and has earned his emcee respects with critically acclaimed cameos on albums by Posthaste Killah, M.O.G., Mell the Drunky Human Being, Green Grae, PHONYX, Ras Pazz, Hat Joe, Young Sheezy, Simmortal Technique, Recro and Ill Bill. Recently, Emcee Revelation has travelled to the U.K. out of order to elevate for 2 years, and has been performing with such U.K. acts as the one like the MC Skibadee, MC Beardless, MC Shabba D and MC Foxy. Rumours quickly spawned that emcee Revelation travelled to the U.K. after getting the infamous DJ Rop pregnant, but those rumours were soon disapated when DJ Bumpy Spliff said in an interview with HellaMental magazine, "yeah, mate, it was a pleasure to work closely with emcee Revelation these last 2 years. Bloody shame the cunt has to go back to Toronto. Wonder if he's taking the kid with him or if DJ Rop's gonna keep it ... ha ha ha!!! i'm just kidding, mate! That crazy rumour is just a rumour. Emcee Revelation and DJ Rop do not have a child together, and that statement is for the record." Upon returning back to Toronto, emcee Revelation wasted no time getting back on stage and in the studio. Rinsin' the mic is what Emcee Revelation does best, and has continued to be the crowd favourite whether in Toronto, UK, the USA, or elsewhere. |
