SONG OF SONGS THE COMIC BOOK #1
(...; by Koben):

Newsarama member, ..., has put out his own comic book, with issue two on the way. The story revolves around a group of friends and their adventure to the local hot-spot the day after an incident of violence has erupted at a local hip-hop themed rave. A fight breaks out, and one of the gang is seemingly kidnapped. The dialog is realistic and full of b-boy character that draws you into this day in the life of a group of beatnutz. ...'s artwork is obviously influenced by graff-art and manga/anime, but it has a unique and legitimate voice of its own. In raw style, I would compare his work to that of Sam Keith, but, honestly, I like ...'s work better. Cleverly, he includes a drum-n-bass/jungle DJ in his cast of heds, displaying a comprehensive knowledge of the massive urban scene.
